🛠️ EMD Engines & SCR Upgrades / Repowering – Admarine XI
ADIL successfully executed a turnkey project for the repowering of Admarine XI, covering the complete supply of spares, services, technical reports, and class approvals. The scope included upgrading an EMD 645-12-E8 engine to the 645-12-E9B class by replacing the root blower with a turbocharger, modifying the exhaust manifold, and upgrading key assemblies such as oil jumper lines, first power pack, fuel injectors, aftercooler, and gear assemblies. These enhancements boosted power output, improved fuel efficiency, and ensured compliance with modern locomotive and performance standards — all without major internal engine modifications.
